Mac Mini Advice

Hello everyone,

I am looking to start doing a little programming for the iPhone then possibly the iPad. I'm not really sure I'm going to keep with it so I'm interested in buying a Core 2 Duo Mac Mini to save some cash. However I wonder if they work that well running Lion. I feel like the ones for sale in my area are running a bit expensive seeing as a lot of them are about 4 years old now. So is it just worth saving up some more cash and getting a new Mac Mini, or will a core 2 duo system work just fine?

Get the new one, it has exclusive hardware that makes it work great with Lion, dont get the core 2 duo ones.
