[SOLVED] Mac OS can't find desktop icon

Hello,the desktop icon is blank and we can't save on the desktop

Run a verify disk (Utilities -> Disk Utilities) if it find anything run a Repair Disk, then run a Verify Disk Permissions (and a Repair Disk Permissions if it finds anything); if that fails report back including the version of OSX and a much better description of the issue.
