[SOLVED] Mac os x not starting stuck grey/white loading screen

I hav a mac book pro and I started it and the os x stuck at grey/white screen it's started but I want to install older version of Mac os 10.4
I want to know how to install it

I'm not a Mac guy, but don't you have a "REPAIR" disc to solve your startup issue?

1. Put install disk in drive (make sure it is the disk that came with the computer - this matters!).

2. Hold the 'C' key down and start the computer.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
