Is it possible to run Mac OS X on a PC? Or does it have to be on a computer produced by apple? Can windows XP be installed on a Mac? Or do you need to have it emulated?
Just curious if it could be done, or if anyone has done it, and couldn't find too much on google.

why the hell would you want to run that crappy OS Besides it wouldn't be able to handle any hardware that's outside it's little sandbox.

Its not that i want to. I'm just curious to know because it seems to be that the OS is the only reason people debate against pc and apple. They are basically the same products with a different OS, and apple being owned by a single company. No different to Dell releasing their own OS and making all their computers only run their OS. Could you format a Mac and install Windows?

No need to format... just buy and install BootCamp and you can run Win XP on your Mac.

The difference isn't quite as subtle as you make it out to be... and up until last year, there was a huge difference between WIntel machines and Macs. Now that Apple is using PC hardware, that difference is less than it use to be, but still significant.
