[SOLVED] Mac os x screensaver shuts after 5 minutes

I have my screen saver set to go on after my computer is idle for 5 minutes, which it does.
But the screen saver also shuts after 5 minutes. Is is not supposed to stay on?

It's probably your energy saver preferences . Just open system preferences, then go the the Energy Saver icon (it's a lightbulb), and change the computer sleep and display sleep setting to more than 5 minutes.
