Macbook 15'' display showing green static

If I screenshot my desktop, it won't show the static; so I had to take a picture of the screen.

This makes me think the issue is with the monitor itself. Maybe a loose connection? It's a 15-inch macbook I got in January 2011. The inside looks like what's in this video

Any how-to's to fix this? I'd like to avoid paying a crap-ton at a repair place.

The 2011 mac pro has a very common issue. It's one of those planned obsolescence problems where the board misreads the gpu's signals and causes screen corruption. Not much to do about it other then let a good repair shop redo the broken caps or get a new mainboard (both...

The new macbooks apperantly have it even worse with bad components so I would avoid getting a new one from 2015 till now.
