My macbook isn't doing anything at all! Whenever i try to turn it on nothing happens at all just black screen. Please help!

When was the last time it worked? Did anything change since then?

I've seen where they seem like they are off but just frozen with a black screen.

Try holding the power button for 20 seconds, then press it again but only once.

BTW - not sure what you've tried and how good you are with Mac so if you tried things let me know.

I am good with a pc and have built my own, i am new to macs though. I have tried the 20 second trick already and it has been non-functionable for about a week

The charger shows a green light, the macbook is sealed with weird rounded torx screws.

First try resetting your SMC.

- Make sure the Mac is plugged in to the power.
- Press and hold the Shift, Option, and Control keys on the left side and press the power button.
- Release all the keys at once, and then turn the Mac on normally.

Then try resetting the PRAM (I know you need to hear a startup chime for this but try it anyways).

- Press the power button, and as soon as you hear the startup chime, hold down Command-Option-P-R.
- Keep holding down those keys until you hear a second startup chime. Then let go and allow your Mac to continue starting normally.
