[SOLVED] Macbook Air SHuts Off During Recovery

Hi Guys

I recently got a Macbook Air 13 Mid 2011 for free, upon turning it on i was i was presented a folder with a question mark.

So i went into recovery mod, after downloading recovery files, macbook would attempt to restore loading far would reach 10% and macbook would shut off.

I'm a PC person so i am not sure what to look for, any idea(s) would be appreciated.

Sounds as if the SSD may be shot.
