Who has had experience with these and what is your opinion on which on is better.

I am going to college and don't want a windows laptop. But i can run windows on boot camp for the mac. I am doing aeronautical engineering so i don't really think i will be doing anything to graphics intensive. Also i don't want to go anything over 15".

What do you guys think would be the best one to get?

I would STRONGLY recommend you talk to your guidance councilor to see what applications you may need for your major before you go MAC. Then go see if they are MAC compatible(most aren't) Yes you can run Windows on MAC's however later in your education you may find you use MS more than OSX. I have met MANY mechanical engineers that had this problem and ended up just purchasing a MS based desktop machine.

Best of luck.

I'm a EE. I agree with lvdax, you should definatly find out what you are going to be using, software wise, later in your school carer to save yourself the hassle of having to buy another computer down the road.

Good luck.

The theory is sound, but I'm going to have to disagree, primarily because I've seen too many guidance counselors who couldn't tell the difference between a pc and a box of popsicle sticks. I would check sylabuses, or the professors themselves.

The most accurate resource is actualy the lab techs who set up the computer labs, or the computer labs themselves.

App list, and they're importance.

Whether you can get licences, or can work remotely on said software is also a consideration.
