Macbook pro 2012 i5 fortnite

Hi, i have a 2012 macbook pro with a ivy bridge i5 processor 2.5ghz. Im using windows 10 and i tried downloading fortnite. My fps was around 30-50 but one problem was it kept stuttering. Not sure if its because my cpu isnt good enough or 4gb of ddr3 sodimm isnt enough. Please help

Yeah, no integrated graphics on that, just the HD 4000 in Ivy Bridge CPUs. You're at at the very bare minimum for the requirements (RAM too). Fortnite can really eat the RAM too, but the iGPU will always be a limiting factor even if you upgraded to 8 GB of RAM.

I see, if it was the ram itd be good since i dont mind the 30 fps just the stuttering that triggers me. anyways i have a 1050ti just that i wanted to use macbook for convenience

You could get a Thunderbolt 2 based eGPU and use something like a GTX 970 or 980 on that system(due to Thunderbolt 2's limitations, a newer 10XX card would not be recommended).

I used to use a Bizon Box(which was the equivalent to an Akitio Thunder2) that had a GTX 970 in it on my old Macbook Pro.
