My last Macbook Pro 15 inch 2010 model had to be put to sleep as the speakers volume became very low and did not improve despite doind everything short of replacement. Also it kept restarting randomly due to a hardware bug. Another Macbook Pro 15 inch (2015) also developed speaker issues (crackling, tinny buzzing sound) despite being used very sparingly.
The OS is High Sierra. To eliminate the possibility of a software bug, I tried to update to Monterey but no update is showing in the app store except Sonoma which is not compatible with the 2015 Macbook Pro.
What should I do to access the MacOS Monterey ?
