MacBook Screen Water Damage!

Hello,
I spilled a soft drink onto my Mac screen, it still works fine, and there are no 'Dead Pixels' just a load of grey smudges on my screen. Is there anything i can do to get rid of these, or do they just go over time? Need help ASAP!
