The temperature is normal. 40C - 45C. Even it's not hot sometimes, Ambient temp is 20 C. Windows 7 64 bit I'm using. Re-booted the OS again as I feared for viruses. I'm just browsing net or listening songs or watching movies,the machine getting restarted from it's own. Any reason? Quite a baffling situation I'm facing. I did not OC the CPU & GPU and never will.
Using the stock cooler (bad,no doubt)

Build-
*AMD Fx 8320
*ASUS M5A97 R 2.0
*Sapphire R7 250 1Gb GDDR5
*1 TB HDD WD Caviar Blue
* PSU- Corsair VS 550.

If it's not overheating it may simply be a Windows crash, did you try a clean Windows setup? If you did, it could be the power supply, motherboard, RAM or video card, need to start testing those one at a time to rule them out. Only good way is to test them in another system or test known good parts in yours.

You can run RAM tests with memtest and check if ASUS has a utility to test the motherboard.

Power issues will of course cause the system to shut down, so yes a voltage issue would do it.

Having the problem of restart only. Not shut down.

I can't see the images at work, but if there are no errors and you don't have any hardware to test with, a clean Windows setup would need to be done to rule out software issues.

My father has a multimeter. Going to use that. You know what I think? 🙁 The main power source has a problem I think. I would do the test very carefully and will keep you updated. :)
