Macro usage

Hey guys, just started gaming on the pc, just wondering what keyboard and mice macros are used for? can you give some examples? I have a saitek cyborg and razer lachesis.

macros make some buttons do multiple things like you can set then to make a button that crouches and shoots same time without having to press crouch button and shoot button

macros can do pretty much any key sequence you want if the drivers are good. i still play age of empires 2 every once in a while with friends and i load one of my keyboard profiles with the aoe macros on it. with the press of 1 button it selects my town center and ques up 15 villagers instantly. or in a first person shooter if there is a special way to throw a nade (some games there are tricks that are hard to do) or something u can make a macro, line up and press 1 button. but the real benefit for macros is in rpg's b/c you can execute complex spell sequences faster than humanly possible and if the drivers are good you can put delays in there to. to sum up...macros FTW!!!!
