I never used a MAD CATZ product before as here in India MAD CATZ products comes with insane price. The MAD CATZ RAT Pro X+ is tempting me. It has great looks and very high specs and has many features. As I cannot afford it here in India because the price is thrice of the US price (meaningless and way over priced for a mouse). I was planning to get it imported from US.
Here is the problem. As I read few reviews of MAD CATZ products and all of them point towards it causing trouble in 1-2Yrs of usage. As I have been using Logitech products the mouse I am presently using is Logitech G500s which is working great without any problem even after 4Yrs. I expect RAT Pro X+ to perform for minimum of 4Yrs without causing any problems at all.
As I wont be getting warranty so if a problem occurs my money is wasted.
How big of a risk am I taking is it worth it?
