[SOLVED] Made a mistake opening a program in Safe Mode, can't revert it

So the new patch for Modern Warfare has some stability issues on PC - full game crashes will happen, and upon reopening it'll give you a pop up that says something like "This program didn't start properly last time. Would you like to start in safe mode?"

I selected yes, just to see what would happen, and the game opened at a very low resolution. The game looks terrible in safe mode. Even when I manually turn up the resolution in the menu, it doesn't work. And every time I open it, it's opening in safe mode now. I can't figure out how to disable it.

So my question is: How can I prevent Modern Warfare from opening in safe mode?

Hi, welcome to T.H. Forums. Give this a try:

1. If you are in safe mode, go to Settings
2. Set Render Resolution to 100
3. Go to Advanced (under Render Resolution)
4. Set it to your native resolution
5. Make sure that you have your Aspect Ratio on Automatic
6. Click Apply

That should fix it.
