Well, it was bound to happen. I ordered 15 different PC parts yesterday, and in the process made an error in my order between two Corsair reference numbers. Unfortunately the one I ordered is the slower of the two reference numbers I was planning to get.

So, before I get into the whole process of returning the product through Amazon and getting another product in its place, I wanted to check with the esteemed community if I should even be bothered with it.

Essentially I wanted to order the Corsair Vengeance Blue 2x4GB PC3-15000 1866 Mhz DDR3 ram with reference CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9B.

Instead what I ordered was the Corsair Vengeance Blue 2x4GB PC3-12800 1600 Mhz DDR3 ram with reference CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B.

Would I notice the difference in speed between the RAM?

Is it worth spending my time dropping the RAM off at the post to get it returned and getting the one I was initially planning to get?

Thanks for your advice!

Thanks guys! Wish I couls select all of your answers as best!

Glad I don't have to fret over all the administrative burden that would be incurred if I had had to do it the other way!
