Hello to the community.
Ive made a bad mistake while trying to split one of my partitions in ease us partition master free edition. I was trying to split 100 GB away from my 3 TB hard drive in order to create a partition to install win 7 alongside the win 10 I already have installed.

Against my better judgement I restarted my pc because I thought the process froze at 67%. This created a number of problems for me and these are:
-The partition that I was resizing is invisible in my pc, but can still be seen using the DISKPART CMD
-The windows boots because my windows 10 partition was unaffected but strangely I cannot install anything or access the admin version of cmd and I get the error listed below
-Even tho C: partition is visible in my pc, when trying to run the programs that I have installed there or on my completely separate disk, I get errors saying the specified path doesnt exist.

Things that ive tried:
(note: since I cannot open admin cmd in windows ive been using a win 7 usb drive to boot up and use the cmd in repair options)
-I cannot use sfc /scannow because of a previous issue I had where something went wrong with win 10 updates, so now when I try this cmd I either get an error saying that the system is pending repairs or Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.

-chkdsk /r on the partition in question
-bootrec /fixmbr
-bootrec /rebuildbcd
-startup repair (im using a win 7 usb since I cant create a bootable drive of win 10 on my current system, but synce it gives me the same repair option I doupt it matters?)
-tried running the ease us partition master again to finnish the job but due to it being installed on the very partition thats now missing, I cant. And I cant reinstall it cuz of previously mentioned problem.
-tried using a previosly saved backed up registry file since I suspect something is also missing from the registry because when I tried opening disk manager it gave me an error that the disk managment.Ink is not linked to any program...(tried linking the Ink back trough control panel before writing this thread, gotta restart to see if there is some success...

PC specs:
Intel(R) Core i5-4690
8GB ram
Sapphire r9 270 X
(ill need to check for the mobo in bios tho since I dont remember and cant acess programs in win to show me, will update)

Ive pretty much exausted my pc knowledge and am in need of help :(

Solution
any important data/apps that you didn't backup? if nothing needed, just reinstall
if you do and don't have backup, best to buy a temp hdd, install windows 10 and try doing partition recovery.

Well not really but the things I need are on the partition that I tried resizing and im wondering if it will even show up when I install new windows? Then again yeah I could try recovering it from an actual functioning windows.

If you going to install windows, and you need the data on the 3TB drive, don't install it on the 3TB drive.
download windows 10 from MS and try windows 10 startup repair.

Nah I got a separate drive I can install new win to. Ive already tried startup repair tho altho using a win 7 disk. So you think if I was only resizing and interupted the process (it wasnt moving any files) so that should mean my data is still ok correct?
