-Removed SSD to upgrade to a GTX 770.

That actually seems pretty nice. Is it worth shipping from different companies?

Gaming mostly. Will do the occasional video edit. I don't need to SSD but i was thinking of putting all my games on there for fast boot up and use it as a boot drive also.

Ohh, Okay. Is intel more gaming based?

You only need to go AMD for budget builds in my opinion, Intel is simply better.

I'd say go with Windows 8(it's better on a technical level) + "Start 8" which brings back the Start Menu and hides metro.

Go with the Samsung Evo drive. Samsung SSD are proven to be reliable and fast:
http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/storage/2013/07/25/samsung-ssd-840-evo-500-750gb-1tb-revie/4

This memory is faster with good timings:

If you go with the 4670k an H80i/H100i/Noctua will be quite recommended, that chip gets toasty.

Everything else is fine.

Well im thinking of going with realchaos' build and there already is a noctua cooler.
EDIT: Do you think this build will be relatively quiet?

If you have the money, for for an Intel build.
Performances are better but the price is also higher of course.
AMD performs well also but not as much as Intel, but it is a lot cheaper.

So I would suggest go for your Intel build, and enjoy it :)

Okay so I did some changes, a suggestion case and cooling wise too.

There is a super good deal on a quality Seasonic power supply currently(will give you room for SLI and some fluff room):
+ $45 off w/ promo code CEMCXLWW25, ends 9/13

You can choose any case or the Noctua if you want, I will leave that up to you, I think the Air 540 and H100i will be cleaner and nicer in the long run.

You can go with a cheaper case if you want, like the one you had originally or the Corsair 200R which is a good case:

To your question about silence, the H100i in quiet mode performs a few C worse than performance, but really quiet.

Anything else, well you can read my post above.

Wow, thanks for the help. :) But i'm gonna go with realchaos' build and put the H100i in there. Personally, i go for performance and quietness over sleek looks.

His build isn't really good at all, and price/performance wise too, plus you're getting better bang for your buck with my build and room for another 760 for more performance. Air 540 case is really good for cooling, not really for sleek looks, but you can choose any case you want and will be fine.

770 is a lot more expensive for performance you're getting. It's better price wise to get two 760s in SLI, and should be a lot faster. On a single 1080p monitor a single 760 would be plenty enough for most games too.

Hm. Ill think about this. Im going to edit your build a little bit so it doesn't kill my wallet (my mom's)

Cheapened it:

760 vs 770:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/7103/nvidia-geforce-gtx-760-review/12

I'm not sure how well these cards will hold up with next-gen consoles raising standards soon, and the 800 series out next year.

Lol what. Are you seriously saying that the GTX 770 isn't a good buy? A single GTX 770 can max out any game on 1080p right now, so I can assume it will be good for the next year or two.
You're talking about price/performance but you're offering a weaker build (due to the GTX 760) at the same price.

@OP: If you want quietness, DO NOT get the Corsair H100i. It's loud due to the pump. Stick with the Noctua NH-D14.

The 760 is a better price\performance buy considering how closely its performance is to a 670. The 760 will run 95% of games at max 1080p. The 770 isn't really worth it for his budget range when the 760 is quite good for a single 1080p monitor.

Also, what a loud of garbage, the Corsair H100i is not loud at all, that's nonsense.

Me and the OP already came to a good build anyway, and he's only doing light gaming currently including mine-craft so a 770 is overkill for him.

Yea, I don't need a top of the line graphics card right now. If i do end up getting into high end games like Crysis, I'll just crossfire with the Radeon 7950.

Okay maybe he doesn't need a GTX 770, but the thing is that your build is more expensive than the one I recommended yet the one I recommended still performs better? Sounds like your build doesn't have a very good price/performance ratio.

The Corsair H100i is definitely loud. The pump makes a lot of noise: http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/corsair_h100i_review,10.html
A high end air cooler is only about 20dba MAX, while the Corsair H100i is about 45 max.
Air coolers like the Noctua NH-D14 is much cheaper than the Corsair H100i (save about $20-30), performs nearly the same (Corsair H100i performs a bit better, but not worth the extra noise and money IMHO), and you don't need to worry about any leaks (AoI liquid coolers does have a chance of leaking).
