Mafia 1 not filling the screen

I've just installed Mafia 1 on Windows 10 and it doesn't fill up the screen, instead, it appears on a big off-centered square and there's nothing I can do about it. What could this be? How do I solve it?

My graphics card is an onboard ATI HD 3000 with the latest drivers.

I love Mafia 1 so much, I've played it so many times it's unreal.
Have you tried pressing Alt + Enter? I haven't played it on W10 yet but give that a try and also check that fullscreen is ticked in the options box before the game launches.

I got that game as well but I cant recall if I had to use the monitors settings to adjust it ?? in the displays menu I got settings like wide stretch dot to dot normal or what ever

also look at windows 10 4;3 issues

game hint --- if you want a extra gun run over the first beat cop as you leave the garage and grab up his pistol [you can cause a big cop chase and may can get shotgun]

There's no Fullscreen box to tick on the setup menu. On the Catalyst menus I can't find anything like that either.

its a old 4:3 game and why you have to ''stretch'' it to fit 16.9 maybe through your monitors menu that game was from back in the CRT display days
