Question Mafia III Slow on my Dell G3 3779

Sorry if this is the wrong area. I have the Dell G3 3779 with a 1060Ti. I have been having issues with playing Mafia III with the gameplay to the point where it's sputtering. I can hear the sound effects and music but the video is choppy or altogether slow. I've taken the device apart and cleaned it with compressed air. Does anyone else have this laptop with the similar specs and able to play it? What settings have you changed?

I have a 1TB for my games and an SSD for my W10 data. Ohhhhhh.....Maybe upgrading the 1TB mechanical drive to a 1TB SSD would help?

if the cpu/gpu temp look good. upgrade the ssd
