Mine does if she gets the chance. Many of my Sims seem a tad obsessed with
taking out the trash and will do several times a day so often she doesn't
get a chance to do it.

I've seen he/she does that... but only when the trash bin is quite full.

I should have stated in my original post that it is the trash from the
trash compactor that the
maid doesn't take out. After the maid has said he/she is through and all
is clean, the trash is still
in the trash compactor and needs to be taken out.

I wonder why the <peep> I have to go to the mailbox
for my bills, IRL I also do most automaticaly, why not such an option
in this game?
And in the mailbox they could dom some fun stuff, like patches
and add-ons or link a letter to an internetsite with news etc.
Or a subscription to a magazine which you can buy in a shop too
, whatever, but just bills? just boring.
