Mail In rebates?

So I'm eligible to recieve a $10 mail-in rebate from ASUS for a sound card that I bought. I'm reading a bit and I've heard of scams or checks not being recieved. Should I go for it or not waste my time?

Just follow the instructions EXACTLY as it's written on the rebate form and you should be fine.

People just complain about not getting rebate cards because they probably didn't fulfill all the requirements. I have never had a rebate process go wrong.

I just ordered an Asus soundcard myself. The $10 rebate didn't make me buy it or anything but I am certainly going to get my $10 back. That sucker was expensive!
