Question main power connector

motherboard lists -5v, but there is no wire in the ATX connector

That is normal as this no longer used.

Pin # 20 \ -5v is an obsolete connection, it's no longer used in modern power supplies. In newer ATX PSU's, the pin is not found: see pic below:

That's what I thought Dark. I'm just grasping at straws. PC will not boot. Fan comes on and stays on...no beeps. no post..what else is there besides bad CPU or MOB? I suppose RAM, Video card...?
