Can you guys give me some suggestions :
The following is what I want

-I like Asus and msi Cause I made good experience with it but gigabyte is als ok (but I never had something from gigabyte , are there products good ?)

-I want to overcklock the ryzen
- sweetspot would be 100€ but if it’s worth I can invest 150€

Thanks for all suggestions

for Ryzen 3 the MSI boards that end in MAX are ready to go out of the box. MSI B450m Mortar MAX for example is R3 ready as are all MSI MAX boards. ( not an endorsement example only)
for the easiest upgrade get an x570 board or one of the MAX MSI boards. other boards may need an BIOS upgrade before supporting the Ryzen 3 series.

So the msi b450 Tomahawk can run the ryzen 3950x without problems is that what you mean ?

So i don’t have to update the bios of msi b450 Tomahawk Max for ryzen 3600 ?

But do I have to update the bios of this motherboard
https://geizhals.de/gigabyte-b450-aorus-pro-a1858848.html?hloc=at&hloc=de&v=e
to run an ryzen 3600 ?

And in general where are the differences between good and not so good boards ?

I know all b350 and b450 mainbaords can be used for overclocking , are there nethertheless differences between boards ?
And which chipset do you guys recommend to me ?

How can I see if I have to upgrade the bios of the board to run the ryzen 3600 ?

...
While you can run Ryzen 3000 'out of the box' on a Tomahawk MAX board it's still advised to update to latest BIOS, with AGESA 1004b. You should do that with any X570 board too simply because the latest AGESA is greatly improved.

As far as running a 3950X on Tomahawk max... watch this video!
