Major fps drop @ high end pc

Hi!

I mainly play the video game Rust. My fps is usually around 80-110 depending on the server etc. But very often I get major fps drop (dropping down to 20-50) and this gives me a 0.5-1 second freeze. My CPU and GPU temps while playing is around 60~ celsius +-10. The CPU load is around 30-40%, 50-60% on the GPU and 20-30% on the RAM.

I’ve tried a whole lot like clean windows install, changed a lot of settings in Nvidia, power settings on PC and I’ve changed around all the settings in the game.

Hopeing for a solution here.

PC Specs below:

CPU: Intel Core i9-7900X

Motherboard: ASUS TUF X299 MARK 1
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G3, 850W PSU

If you need anymore information of anything just tell me!

In Rust, this could be due to buildings rendering in. There's a lot of stuff that has be to rendered in when you come near a base, which could cause a fps drop.

As you said, it's only 0.5 - 1 second, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I’ve played the game since 2014, pretty close to 5000 played hours and I play it daily. Having these 0.5-1 second freeze every 30 seconds~ is actually something I worry about. Especially when I watch other people with way lower specs and even stream on the same pc not having the same issues.
