Hello, I will get straight to the point here. After about 15-30 mins. of gaming on "Kal Online" my computer screen goes black and says Auto Detect: (Digital Input): Entering Power Saving Mode. At this point I can't do anything at all except hold down the power button to shutdown the comp. When it happens the video card fan (I guess) gets much louder than usual. My power settings are already on high performance and NEVER turn off display or sleep bla bla bla. I tried unhooking the power cords and plugging them back in, that didn't work. So I am not sure what the problem is exactly.

Here is my PC specs:

HP Envy Desktop model h8-1420t

Windows 8.1 64-bit (could recovering my whole computer fix it?)

1 TB WD Blue Hard Drive

8GB Memory (Idk how but I've seen some ppl "reseat" their memory, could that fix it?)

i7-3770 Processor (Normal CPU temp while gaming/when my issue occurs is 40 to mid 50's, could a better CPU Fan/Heat sink fix my issue?)

AMD Radeon HD 7670 Graphics Card (I haven't checked my GPU temps, I guess I probably should. Getting a new graphics card could possibly fix it too right?)

300W Power Supply (Is this too low for my components? Could it be the culprit?)

Is there anything else I can try? I can't afford to go out and buy all new hardware so I'd rather try everything I can first or single out the problem. Please lend me any advice I would greatly appreciate it because atm I can't game online at all with this issue.

If it always occur and always 10+ minutes after you start playing, there is a high probability overheating is your issue.

If all you have is a 300W OEM PSU, the PSU would be a suspect too depending on who its actual manufacturer and what model it is based on.

Temperatures are fairly easy to check: you simply need something like HWInfo, HWMonitor, SpeedFan, etc.

Ok I downloaded HWInfo, my GPU temp is usually around 65 C, also when my comp just went into power saving mode. Actually I can turn on my comp and go to the same spot on the game and it always happens there. So it doesn't have to be after 10-15mins. Also how do you post a picture on here?

My power supply is what came with it when I bought it 2 years ago. HP Switching power supply 300W model DPS-300AB-73 A.

I can think of only two things that could cause the system to crash always at the same in-game location: a driver issue where something about the location causes the driver to go haywire or a HDD issue where the HDD stops responding after trying to read a bad sector.

Hmmm....Maybe I will try recovering whole PC and re-installing drivers. Also my GPU temps have gone up as high as 83* C. I will try to test temps some more by doing what I would regularly do in-game when my issue occurs.
