I recently built a new pc only re using the ram and motherboard. I used to have a buzz coming from the GPU to any audio device. Only time it goes away is if i use the 3.5 to 1/4 included with my sennheister 560s.

Have tried drivers, changed outlets, completely different circuits too. It just suddenly stared a week or two ago, is fine until i do something as small as scroll, but gets worse when a demanding load is on the GPU. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

If all else fails and you have a suitable empty PCIe slot, you could buy a sound card with a Toslink output.

Alternatively, try a USB audio DAC and connect the dual phono output to your amplifier. DACs start at around $50 and go up to many $1,000s for HiFi versions.

Optical isolation probably has the best chance of working. It all depends where the interference is entering the audio stages. Some motherboards isolate the audio codec area to reduce EMI.
