Major issues with R9 390 Temps!

I have triple monitor (1x 1080p, 2x 720p) and my GPU is the Gigabyte R9 390 windforce edition. This sucker hits 90C on any demanding game like Rust, even when only one monitor is running the game. Even worse, when the GPU is in a stress test and the fans are @100%, it can hit 95, and ofcourse, I cancel it there for fear of damage to card. WHAT IS UP WITH IT?

390s are OC'd 290s with more VRAM. The 290 was notorious for running at 90C.

It was considered safe for the 290, so I wouldn't worry too much. The card will throttle if it is getting too hot.

My only issue is, it seems like I really am not getting much out of the card if it's not able to do anything but overheat. I was considering cranking up the power limit to +50 since I heard that helps performance, but I wanted suggestions on how to help with the card really not running well, and running hot.

What I am saying is that AMD designed them to run at 90C (crazy I know). I would increase the power limit. What cooler is it using?

It is the Gigabyte Windforce G1 cooler, supposed to be a good one. I'll increase power limit. Will I see any benefits from doing it?
