Hi, 1-2 days ago i noticed that my computer wasn't running a good amount of fps while playing Counter Strike Global offensive. Before this i could run the game fine on the highest settings, i could also run Battlefield 4 on ultra.

Computer Specs:

AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB
Intel Core i5 4670K 4.4GHz - OC
Kingston HyperX 16GB 1600MHz
Seagate 1000GB 7200RPM 64MB
Kingston SSDNow V300 - 120GB (Solid state drive)

Incase you are wondering.. I have installed the latest drivers, i have scanned for any adware/viruses/bugs using malwarebytes, ccleaner and default windows cleaner.

As i am running a r9 290 it shouldnt be a problem at all to run these kinds of games and it seems very strange. Anybody know what i can do? Sorry for my english 🙁

If you mean my GPU temp, then in that case its 30-45% celcius. I have installed the latest drivers (twice now) i mentioned that. I have defragged . I will try sfc /scannow and get back to you

I dont really know how to find out my system temperature .. 🙁 , when i did sfc /scannow in cmd it said that there was nothing wrong and that i was protected. How do i know my system temperature?

Dont really understand what he is saying + the download link doesnt work for the program i need ¨ACiD¨. And besides, i dont think its only my steam apps that im getting bad fps in, its in general

60 sounds a lot like Vsync is turned on, check the 'gaming -> 3d application settings - wait for Vertical refresh' in CCC is OFF, or in-game settings

TO OP
keep the hwmonitor running and play a game for 20-30 minutes or so, it will log the max temps so you can check the real load temps, if the card hits 95c it will throttle down the clocks. Or use GPU-Z, it'll show the clock rates as well..

DO you have a solution for my problem? ;(

;D that last part was for you 😀
probably not gona help much but at least it would show you the real load temps... I'd prefer GPU-Z thou, it'll show all sorts of info on the card in the sensors tab. Make sure the small tick box is ticked at the bottom so it continues to refresh the readings when in background and play a game and see what the max readings look like, clocks should be at 947MHz, load % over 90, and temps under 94c

what's the refresh rate for your monitor? 60/120/144?
beside what's the CPU heat while playing use http://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/ to check your CPU heat
advice from a CS:GO gamer : change the fps setting in CS:GO from 300 to 150 . fps_max 150 , you will not notice anything changed ,but this reduce the frames rendered by half which is extreme good for GPU performance .beside i play with all setting low , i totally don't see a difference and i have same as your PC btw . hope this helps GL

I already had that program, and even when im in game, i get highest 40 degrees celcius on my gpu temperature, 600Mhz in clocks, and 0 % load...

600MHz is the so-called media clocks, so the card is not even using the full 3d clocks, and 0% load is just not possible if you're gaming using the card. Make sure the monitor is actually plugged into the card and not the mobo, you dont want to be using the integrated gpu...

Dude.. guess what, i just had connected my hdmi cabel into the wrong slot, now its fixed. Thanks a ton for you time Kari! :)
