Hi all,

What would be the most cost efficient way to upgrade my gaming PC so that I can continue to enjoy AAA titles at around medium settings at 1080p and 60Hz? I am finally deciding to do so since I am running Windows 7 which is no longer supported, and I want to install Windows 10 (can I just reuse the Windows 7 key btw) on a new SSD since my PC is very slow outside of games right now.

My specs are as follows:
MSI Z68MA
Intel i5 3570 non K
8 GB RAM
Zotac GTX 1060
Hitachi 500GB (9yrs old)
WD Blue 1TB (4 yrs old)
Seasonic M12 II Bronze
Windows 7 Home edition Retail version

Any suggestions on what to keep/which parts to buy?

Thanks!

To be honest, you're going to be best off to start looking at a new board, CPU and ram. An SSD would be a good upgrade as well.

What kind of budget do you have and what region are you from?

I'm willing to fork out up to SGD $540=USD $400. Was looking at the MSI B450M Mortar Max and Ryzen 3600 that together cost SGD 445 = USD 330.

If so, are there any good recommendations for SSDs and RAM?

How about the rest of the parts?

Edit: Maybe I'll increase my budget by another SGD 100 = USD 75.
