My rigs like 10 months old, and I'm getting these temps!

CPU -
40 degrees C

Mobo -
27 degrees C

Video Card -
56 degrees C

All these temps doing nothing! My rig specs -

GPU -

GTX 560 Ti

CPU -

AMD phenom II X4

I mean I should be able to play DayZ running maxed settings like advised, but nope, 17 FPS on very low settings.

WHAT IS WRONG 🙁

Positive thing is I'm motivated on making a new build over summer hopefully..

Should I consider sending back my parts to dabs and see what they can do?

Don't worry, 56C is not going to cause any issues at all. However, there could be an issue that is causing the temps to be high.

1) hardware acceleration. The new hot thing for software, is to use GPU acceleration features, even on things that barely matter. Things like browsers, flash, logitech gaming software and others will make your card use full clock speeds, while barely doing a thing with it. This causes higher temps.

2) Two or more monitors. When using multiple monitors, your card will use higher clocks and increase temperatures.

3) Dust bunnies. You do have clean out dust from your card from time to time or temps will rise.

4) Poor air flow in the case. Without good air flow, you continue to heat up the temps in the case.

Start by downloading MSI Afterburner or Precision X and monitors the clock speeds of your card. If it is not going into idle clock speeds, it is one of the first 2 possibilities. You may or may not want to do anything if that is the case.
