Make a wired device wireless?

Currently I have a wired headset, it plugs in via USB (to power the amp and send out voice) and it plugs into my soundcards headphone port. Now it bugs me when I say get up to get a drink I have to take off the headset and I miss out on what people said.

So I was wondering if anything exists that I could use to make these two ports wireless so then I could just stick the wires in my pocket and not worry about it.

I actually don't think this will work because of the amp needing power. 🙁

An easier solution would be to go out and buy a bluetooth dongle and get yourself a pair of stereo bluetooth headphones or a simple BT headset that you would use with a cellphone.

Maybe for the USB but I really doubt you can send audio jack signals wireless. Then again you're using USB for power not signals, so that also HAS to be wired.

I was going to say buwish's answer wasn't helpful but I guess he's right. You're better off with a wireless set.
