Solution USAFRet Mar 8, 2018 SpicyHippo : I want to get rid of the os on this hard drive (windows 10) but keep my files and make it just a storage drive. Assuming you have some other drive as the actual OS drive in this system? Copy what you need off the drive in question to something else. Delete all partitions on it. Reformat, and copy your stuff back. By far the easiest way.
