HI, about two years ago I bought a pre-build gamming pc and now I want to build by my own. I have 2TB HDD in this old computer on which also is Win 10. I made "copy" of Win 10 on flash drive and I copied all files that I'd like to keep.
My problem is now that I want to make this HDD clean like brad new - so uninstal Win 10 and I look everywhere how to make format of Win 10 but everything is only Win XP.
Can anyone guide me step by step how to do it? I will be very greatful.

Solution
Once you install Windows on your SSD and make HDD as your secondary drive by connecting internally through sata or as an external drive using caddy(optional), you can format the HDD using Disk management. Before formatting backup whatever is necessary.

Good Luck.:) Peace.

Once everything is backed up, Format all the Drives except C drive. Next when you are installing windows 10 from a bootable USB and if you choose C drive as the drive for installing Windows, the installation process will format it before installing on it. Hence there is fresh windows getting installed.

Good Luck.:) Peace.

Solution
To be 100% accurate, it is impossible. According to the 2nd law of thermodynamics you can never make that hard drive like new again. It already has 2 years of wear and tear on it, which is really a lot for a hard drive. Just clean it and format and you might get a few more years of use out of it.
