Hello,

I just received a pic of the pc i selected to be build.

I was concerning because which i thought i will receive it was a GTX 1060 dual fan but they built it with 1 fan

Is MSI GTX 1060 single fan 6gb

Make any difference? Performance?

Also, the GFX they sending me supposedly comes with VR already.

That is my pc in the picture below.

Feel free to comment

Hello

Solution
looks ok to me, not a full board, so the fan covers most of it., though it is slightly deeper. so i expect it will also require you to have some good fans in/on your case.

generally, more fans will result in a more even temperature cooling over the entire board. 1 fan limits the area to which it can cool .... the heat pipe/fins template ofc helps spread the heat too.

so in reality, the only real difference will be the heat spots on your card .... less with more fans (generally). this is important for the longevity and stability of your card. its not desasterous, but it may affect the lifespan you can expect.

i cant tell you how long or short the life span of a graphics card will be, it depends on how they modeled the cooling, its original life expectency etc.

it wont burn out in the next year or 2, but it probably wont last more than 3+ years (cause companies will expect you to replace your old stuff every 3-4 years or so anyway).

yes, ambient air temps will affect the cooling of fans, which is why some people opt for liquid cooling. but unless youre going to overclock, use a ryzen, place it next to your heater; theres no real danger of overheating.
