making a budget pc bundle for my sons birthday

Hello,

im a looking for a desktop pc, a monitor , a wirelss mouse and keyboard and a set of speakers(can eb usb) for my sons 18th. can somebody please but together some links so i can see what would work together. The only thing he will be doing on it will be things like facebook, youtube and maybe some low end games such as league of legends. my budget is 150 pounds max

150 quid, including PC, monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, OS...For a build with all new parts, that is not going to happen.

Just the Windows OS and monitor takes that whole 150 quid budget.

You might be able to find a crappy prebuilt thing for that price or a little more, but it will be VERY crappy.

150 pounds for a whole built pc for gaming, erm yeah no. Maybe 400 pounds for the most basic pc but 150 will just used up by an os monitor and maybe the case if you're lucky

You have a link to these? I can't imagine they would be any good for use in 2015.

That is a PC looking device.
It is a decade old.

Will it run? Yes.
Will it run to the satisfaction of a 2015 18 year old? No.

It will struggle hard just to run youtube vids.

I get the concept of a limited budget.
But that thing, or your initial 150 quid budget, is simply not enough for a rational PC.

You could probably get a Chromebook or even low end laptop for that though.

Well i think you should just give the 150 pounds to your son as a gift so he can put that forwards to anything he wants. Because im telling you know, 150 pounds is barely enough for a pc. Maybe a basic tablet really

Yeah I agree with this, buy a cheap or used tablet off eBay. £150 will not get you any sort of a fully functioning, 2015 PC that will handle today's games or even running apps like Youtube or Facebook. If you want a real gaming PC you're looking at £500 minimum.
