Making my own Steam machine so wondering if these parts will fit in the case?

You don't want to make a compact gaming machine with that processor, and the motherboard is not properly built to support it. Take it back to the drawing board once more and look for something intel, hands down what you want to put in a compact case. I would get the H80i as my cooler though. You can PM me if you would like specific help selecting parts.

okay thankyou, so the only thing you would change is the cpu? i already have the cooler so probably going to stick with that

Yes, get an i5-4460 and a Gigabyte GA-H97N-WIFI eliminating the need for a wifi card. You may also want to look into the Silverstone ML07B or RVZ01B. Hell of a case to put an ITX build in. I built one and called it the console killer.
