I noticed in the garden section of Build Mode, there are cattails and
etc for placing on ponds.
I can't figure out how to make a pond. Has anybody made one?
I tried making one with the swimming pool water but couldn't place
anything on it.

Thanks........somebody

Go to Build, water tool. The three circles at the bottom control the
size of the tool. The more clicks or the longer you hold the mouse
button down the deeper the water will be. You can also plant things
before using the tool and they will sink with the ground, allowing you
to create some unusual landscapes, such as a willow tree growing in
the water.

Sure. Unfortunately, I don't know the right English word for the place
to find the ponds, but the symbol is a spade and the section contains
other tools for making the surface.

Also when making the pools you have to be sure that the land is totally
level for it to work
Sometimes it LOOKS level but then when you try it will not go
So I usually take the level terrain and go over that area Just to be
sure

Hope that helps

You can just place a carpet (the $2 one), that levels ALL ground
automagically. After placing, just remove it and you have a levelled lot,
for very little cash.

You can use the same procedure to level basements. Find out how deep you
need to dig to place a staircase, then level the remaining with the
carpet.

Have fun!
