Making some upgrades

My current system is

AMD FX 6100 (Overclocked to 3.6ghz)
Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 Motherboard
Gigabyte HD 7870
G.Skill Ripjaws X F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3
Antec Neo Eco 620W PSU
Samsung 840 Evo SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1TB

I'm looking to stay with AMD for my CPU and GPU - can anyone suggest a AMD CPU that would give me a noticeable increase in performance.
Plus I'm thinking of waiting for the new RX 480 from AMD for my GPU.

Suggestions or advice?

Your motherboard is quite a weak spot so a CPU upgrade does not make sense . And even less sense when you factor in new AMD ZEN processors in 4- 5 months.

For now just fit the RX 480 when it is available
