Making sure ram fits

I wanted to ask about my motherboard cause i have been using a 1 stick on ram which is 8 gb and i finally have the money to buy a duel sit of ram 16gb
my question is
will my asus b85m-e motherboard fit the Patriot 16GB(2x8GB) Viper III DDR3 1600MHz (PC3 12800) CL9 Desktop Memory With Black Mamba Heatsink - PV316G160C9K

thats my question i just wanted to make sure that it fits so i can buy it without worrying it wont fit.

Yes the motherboard uses DDR3 memory. The memory that you posted is DDR3. So it fits.
