I have downloaded this 15Mb mod and when I extracted it, all there was
in this 15Mb file was a 34Kb esp and 2 small tga files. Where's the
rest of it? I can't believe there is so much NOT in the .rar file I've
d/l'd. Maybe even the author scans this group and can let me know.

Ummmmm, that doesn't sound right! Personally I don't like .rar files as,
unlike .zip, there doesn't seem to be any way to preview whats contained
in the archive before you decompress it, at least not with the version
of winrar I've got. However, if you extracted the archive to
/morrowind/datafiles it has probably put the rest of the contents into
the directory tree where they need to go (meshes, textures) etc, you
just don't get to see the process. Have you tried the mod to see if it
actually works?

That's too little. There should be about 600 files in 16 folders. I
suggest you try another decompressor or check the archive for errors.
By the way: I hope you downloaded version 1.46. All prior versions
feature a nasty bug within the main script. Version 1.46 corrects
this in a rather simple, yet extremely effective way:
The script now reads
"Begin ho-Bow
StopScript ho_Bow
end"

If you install either WinRAR (www.rarlab.com) or 7-zip (www.7-zip.org),
they both come with file managers that allow you to see the contents of
many different types of archives without actually extracting them.

Nice one, I'll have a look. I've just got something installed that adds
a right-click option "extract RAR archive here" - I'm not even sure what
it is TBH, was just assuming it was winrar.

That'd be the context integration - the file manager is a separate
program that you run from the Start menu. So far as I know, there's no
addon that makes these files transparent to explorer in the same way
that zip files are.

Hmmm, definitely nothing on my start menu for it, I must have a missing
shortcut. I'll have a hunt round my drive and see what I've actually
got! Thanks Greg.
