Male to Male USB Cable Use

I bought a asus mobo and it came with a usb cable with standard male usb connectors on both ends. What is the use for such a cable. I do not want to mistake this for a usb transfer cable and damage 2 computers connecting them. what is the use for such a cable with 2 male ends?
