I got 2 of these motherboards from amazon. The first one I installed with a bit of trouble but no damage from as far as I could see (I'm new to pc building). I made sure I didn't static shock it, I triple checked cpu compatibility, was as delicate as I could be. I plug the pc in and flip the power switch and i see a quick flash (this has LEDS in it), thought nothing of it and I pressed the power button. When I checked it out a bit more and took it to the geek squad, who let me know that the motherboard wasn't powering on when they were testing it. I got it replaced and practically the exact same thing happened. I dont know what's going on. Does anyone know any mistakes I could have made to kill the circuitry in these things?

You're gonna have to start with the full system specs including the brand and model of each part.

R9 390 8Gb GPU
Corsair CX750M Power Supply
Intel Core I7 Unlocked CPU
Vengeance DDR4 Ram (2x8Gb)
1Tb Hard Drive (unspecified brand)
I'd be happy to let you know about anything else if I can
