Hello,
My computer configuration has been the same for quite a while and everything was fine.
In the recent 3-4 boots, as Windows 7 loads, I get an error that a "Device driver software was not successfully installed".
This is somewhat strange, since I have made no changes to the PC hardware configuration, all the hardware is installed and there aren't any "missing" devices.
I use Mcafee AV with the options to prevent changes to registry, windows system folder, etc' - which is most likely why this "driver" was "not properly installed".
How do I find out what has been causing this? what "hardware driver" was trying to be installed?
And if it is malicious, how do I remove it?
Thanks!
