Hi everyone, I'm here because of a big issue that may be something with networking, or malware.

Recently I've been playing battlefield 4 with no problem, as well as other games, up until yesterday, where i may have accidentally installed malicious software, a lot of adware popped up, so i ran scans with Avast and Malwarebytes both tests came up positive for malware, and i removed all that it found, After i figured everything was fixed i went to go play battlefield 4 again, and noticed that it will not let me connect to any servers or even launch the game. It disconnects me from EA online when trying to join. And that's not the only problem, it seems that my IP Address has changed to a funky looking one instead of my normal one. I Did check the IP and it says it is owned by my ISP. And battlefield is not the only game with problems, I Am unable to connect to games for windows live, for GTAIV. And there are also several more programs that will not connect to the internet. But some games still connect fine.

Here is a screenshot: (Left: games for windows live, for gtaiv) (right, windows 10 network settings)

also, all the connections:

evolve is a software to allow me to play on LAN servers with friends, It also will not connect to the internet since yesterday.

I've restarted my router, My computer, and none of it worked.

I Have checked and made sure windows firewall is not blocking the programs, and it isn't. I'm unaware of what is blocking these programs from connecting to the internet.

I Checked my ISP's website, and they explained that if your pc is kept shut off for longer times than usual they will assign you a short term DHCP (I Recently had my computer off for a week as i changed it's power supply and had to wait for it to arrive), and suggested releasing and renewing the IP adress. I Did that, and nothing changed.

any help would be greatly appreciated, if needed i can post a DxDiag or other things. Thanks!

Update: I Tried another game from Steam, and it didn't allow me to connect, and suggested that i check my ISP settings and my firewall, which i haven't changed anything with either of them.

Hi, thanks for replying. I Have reset my hosts file to the original, and it didn't change anything. And i talked to my ISP earlier and confirmed the "funky looking" address was theirs, I was talking about the IPv6, As my previous one looked entirely different.
