I'm typing on another computer that doesn't have the virus. I am getting pop-ups for this virus/malware called "Malware Protection." At first it just prevented me from running programs. I decided to try and boot in safe mode and I actually managed to get a Malwarebytes scan started when the computer suddenly turned off at the start of the scan. I tried again getting into safe mode with and without networking and each time it started to load safe mode, the computer shut down. Then I wanted to just load regularly and it started to shutdown right after trying to pick between loading "Start Windows Normally" or "Launch Startup Repair" under the WIndows Error Recovery, both options lead to the computer shutting down. I need some options please.

I noticed that I am able to eventually sign onto the regular computer desktop if I keep trying after 10 times but even then renaming files to run them doesn't work. Renaming malwarebytes and combofix from a flash drive does not work. Need help.

If it's breaking down even in safemode it sounds like some of the main 13 processes have a flaw in it and about the only way to insure it's correct it to do a full reinstall of the OS.
You can back up the hard drive using another working computer but be sure to have an active monitoring protection that is ment for external devices and secondary hard drives such as Microsoft Security Essentials. *if your really worried back it up while in safe mode to prevent any scripts from running.

Yes, the next morning I was suddenly able to start up the computer and start a scan. I paused Malwarebytes as soon as it found something, then removed whatever it found and then I scanned again. Turns out the first thing it found was the malware then I could run combofix, and it was finally fixed. A combination of luck and peristence.
