Malwarebytes won't run and Google chrome

Hi, please help.
I've been trying to open my malwarebytes but it wont open.
I tried using malawarebytes chameleon but there are time that I get stuck on the command prompt
and needed to do a hard reset on my pc for me to continue.
After running the chameleon program now Google chrome won't open.

This all started when one time I booted up my PC then suddenly google chrome opens by itself
leading mo to some kind of Russian gaming website.

Please help.

I wouldn't to reformat my PC.

Sounds like its infected with something. Chrome shouldnt open on startup

download ADWCleaner and combofix. Run ADWCleaner let it scan then clean, then reboot. Then disable your antivirus and run combofix, then reboot and enable your antivirus.

Can you recommend what would be the best free anti virus to use?
as of now I am using AVG free and also what kind of software shoud I download to avoid these kind of problems in the future?

Those two usually do the trick.

AVG is fine, I use Microsoft Security Essentials.

The best practice to avoid getting crap on your system is to smart about what emails you open and most importantly, pay attention when you're installing free programs; don't just click through everything to finish installing, make sure that it isn't installing a bunch of other crap you didn't sign up for.
