I am running Windows 10 (64-bit) on a Intel Core i7-6700 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor and a Asus H170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard. However on the support CD for the motherboard, I have a driver that does not install. I have sat through the installation process for the "Management Engine Interface" (or Intel MEI, I believe) twice already, but every time I open the disc back up it is still listed as "Not installed".
I do not know why this is happening. No errors are ever brought to my attention and Windows Update offers no substitute. However I believe the lack of this driver is causing a problem for my PCI Input Device and possibly causing my HDD to be unlisted in This PC.
Can someone please help me resolve this issue? I haven't been able to identify the driver online or the issue/s with it myself.
