Managing Outlook Account?

So I have a nice Microsoft Account I use for all of my Windows PCs. I made it a long time ago, and made a real crappy username/email for my outlook account. I was wondering if there was any way to delete your outlook account from you Microsoft account? I am looking to use this for professional uses (college applications) and would like to nto lose all of my synced data but be able to start over with a new outlook mail account. I assume you mean an Outlook.com account rather than an Outlook account for an Exchange server? If so, you could simply set up an alias to deliver mail to your existing account.
